I promised myself not to let another day go by without sending you our gracious regards. Our vacation with the Schwieberts was the trip of a lifetime! The recommended hotels were perfectly located, clean and comfortable with staff that aided us with helpful information and restaurant suggestions. My particular hotel favorite was Mueble' If Riccio. The hotel itself was stunning. They even arranged for an early breakfast for us in order to make our flight to Copenhagen. Flying SAS was easy once you downloaded their app.
We benefitted from all 3 tours you arranged. Special acknowledgement to Celia who lead our food tour in Tuscany. She was very enthusiastic, clearly loved food, and made sure everyone had a great time. The choice of restaurants was terrific and everyone left with smiles and full tummies. Our guide for the Cinque Terra was exceptional! He was very considerate, pleasant, easy to talk to. He took us by ferry to Riamaggiore where we did a reasonable hike up into the vineyards .He even offered to take the train partway back with us to make sure we got on the right train. We didn't need that but that shows his consideration for his group.
Our third guide, Sinisa Milanov was very knowledgeable in explaining the art we saw in both the Accademia and Uffizi. We shared lunch with him at a restaurant he likes to frequent and it was excellent, not filled with tourists like ourselves, but locals. On our own, we would never have found it. Not his fault, but we discovered that 6 hours of art was a bit too much for us, it would have been better had we done the museums on two separate days.
You made our vacation a dream come true. Thank you for all the detailed planning, patience with our questions, and excellent recommendations overall. You are the best!
